Former UFC strawweight champion, Jessica Andrade opened up about her childhood traumas in her latest interview with MMA Fighting. Jessica Andrade is the only fighter in the women’s division who has equalized her UFC wins with current UFC bantamweight and featherweight champion, Amanda Nunes.
Jessica Andrade is a Brazilian-born UFC fighter who competes in the strawweight division of the UFC. In her recent interview with MMA Fighting, Andrade reflected on getting abused during childhood and how opening up an OnlyFans account triggered her traumas. In late 2021, Andrade opened her OnlyFans account upon requests from fans.
“I used to have an OnlyFans account. I don’t anymore. I never liked doing that, can you believe it? Because I have childhood traumas, stuff like abuse, and everything. It was something that really traumatized me and I didn’t know how to say ‘no’. When the first pictures leaked it was really bad. Because I had to pretend that I was fine, and I wasn’t fine,” [h/t MMA Mania] Jessica Andrade reflected on her traumas.
Jessica Andrade has recently been on a 3-fight win streak after beating Lauren Murphy at UFC 283 via decision in a brutally dominating fashion. Currently, Andrade is ranked #3 in the UFC women’s strawweight division.

UFC strawweight, Jessica Andrade is looking for a title shot after extending her win streak at UFC 283
Former UFC strawweight champion, Jessica Andrade (24-9) sat down at the post-fight press conference of UFC 283 to talk about her future in the division after her dominating performance over Lauren Murphy. After her win at UFC 283, Jessica Andrade is now on a 3-fight win streak since her TKO loss to Flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko.
In the interview, Andrade talked about a potential fight with Valentina Shevchenko for the Flyweight championship and is expecting to return to the octagon as soon as possible. Jessica had previously discussed her interest to contend for titles in both strawweight and flyweight divisions.
“Dana, who else do I need to beat to get a title shot? I want my belt back. I went to China and fought Zhang Weili, now she needs to come here and go through a rough time here fighting me,” Andrade said in her post-fight octagon interview at UFC 283.
The Brazilian former champion has shown interest in a title fight and has rightfully earned her shot and will most probably be seen at the strawweight division in her next fight.
