Jennifer Stone & David DeLuise Launch Wizards of Waverly Place Rewatch Podcast, Wizards of Waverl
Wizards of Waverly Place fans are ecstatic as two of the stars of the legendary Disney Channel show have decided to create a podcast about the award-winning series.
Jennifer Stone and David DeLuise will go episode by episode and give their thoughts and behind-the-scenes stories from the set of Wizards.
For those who don’t know, Stone is known for her role as Harper Finkle, the best friend of the show’s main character Alex Russo (played by Selena Gomez). As for DeLuise, he played Alex’s father, Jerry Russo, on the hit Disney show.

Stone and DeLuise have partnered with PODCO to bring this podcast to life. PODCO is a podcast production company owned by Brendan Rooney, the husband of Kim Possible star Christy Carlson-Romano.
Aside from recapping each episode of their former show, Stone and DeLuise are also set to bring on some of their co-stars to talk about their experience on the show. One of these co-stars is Selena Gomez, as the mega-star posted about the podcast on her Instagram feed.
As of today, February 21, the first three episodes of the pod have been released. In the first two episodes of the podcast, Stone and DeLuise focused on Crazy 10-Minute Sale and First Kiss, which are the first two episodes of the beloved show. In the third episode, the podcast duo decided to switch things up and have a Q&A where they answered many questions sent in by listeners.
To go back to Carlson-Romano, the Even Stevens actress had Stone and DeLuise on her podcast, Vulnerable with Christy Carlson-Romano, to talk all things Wizards and all things Wizards pod. Here’s a clip of the trio discussing their days on Disney Channel.
All in all, the excitement is real with this podcast, as Wizards of Waverly Pod currently sits as the second most downloaded podcast on the Apple Podcasts TV & Film charts.
