NFL announces NFC, AFC rosters for 2022 Pro Bowl

Publish date: 2024-08-05

The National Football League (NFL) has finally come up with the long-awaited announcement of the squads for the two sides, NFC and AFC for the iconic 2022 Pro Bowl match. After being scrapped last year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Pro Bowl is all set to be held on Sunday, the 6th of February in 2022.

The AFC and NFC teams are each made up of 44-star players who earn the most votes in the league. The league announced the official set of players for the two sides, NFC and AFC who will be vying for the title of the Pro Bowl. The list was chosen after a fair voting system, which started on the 16th of November in 2021, involving the coaches, the players themselves, and the fans all of whom have a one-third say on the eventual final results.

Indianapolis Colts were the most represented side among all of the other teams with seven players, followed closely by the Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs with six players each from them.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and NFL legend Tom Brady is all set to play his 15th career Pro Bowl match after he was selected well in advance. Brady now holds the record for the most number of selections in the history of the NFL.

Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert will lead the play as the quarterbacks for the AFC side, while the responsibility will fall on veterans Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers for the NFC side.

Check out the full roster of players for both of these two sides below.
