Pat met her husband, American broadcast journalist Vince DeMentri, during her studies at Temple University.

The man was later arrested after he turned up at the home of another QVC presenter in Washington Township.
Young was charged with 3 years for stalking multiple female QVC hosts.
The offender confessed that he had hoped that Pat would help him to meet her co-worker Lisa Robertson.
