Rappel down the tallest building in Idaho for a good cause
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — On the first weekend of September a lucky few will have the opportunity to go over the edge and rappel down the tallest building in Idaho.
In order to make the cut participants have to raise at least $1,000by soliciting donations from family, friends, and co-workers through this on-line giving site.
"This is a way to say 'hey go out there and have some fun raise some money, start a little competition among your coworkers and as a result of that you get to have a unique experience of that repelling down the side of a building.'" said Tom Lay with Boise's Habitat for Humanity.
The money helps the Boise Habitat for Humanity build homes in the Treasure Valley.
This is the 3rd year Habitat for Humanity has held this event as a thank you to those who have raised money.
There's still time to raise money for this event.
The Habitat for Humanity websitehas more information as well as a place to register.
